A new point of view.

NOVEMBER 12–DECEMBER 20, 2026

Present Tense

Present Tense marks Local Color’s first expression of contemporary art in rural Georgia—a gathering of distinct voices, materials, and ways of seeing. Rooted in the here and now, this six-week preview invites us to slow down, look closely, and encounter contemporary art together, in a small town.

Select works by Jane Whitehurst, Christopher Yocom, Nancy Ricker, and Ignacio Alvarez. Additional artists to be announced.

Alongside the exhibition, discover gallery merchandise and a curated selection of art books.
